Deborah was raised in the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan. She was the middle child of a large Midwestern family. After college, she moved to New York City to pursue her creative side. Within a few years she decided to move to Charleston, South Carolina to be near family and the beach. She continued pursuing her creative side while working in different positions from sales to teaching.
After her daughter was born she discovered her passion to paint. During this time her spiritual and intuitive side grew. Although she had this connection when she was younger with her intuition and the spirit world, she didn’t understand it. As her artistic side grew, her psychic abilities grew, yet she still felt something was missing. During this time she became more interested health and healing because she struggled with a health issue. She relied on the wisdom of her father to guide her because of his genuineness and success as a doctor. She often knew she would eventually surrender to her abilities. Having had experiences with her growing intuition through words, thoughts, images, and feelings she stopped taking this guidance for granted. Several years later, she met a friend who was also a medium who encouraged her to do readings. Doing many types of work to help with her finances, she felt she couldn’t resist her abilities any longer.The time had come.She began doing readings for a few friends or anyone who was interested.Slowly but surely, the more she pursued this part of herself, the more she felt on track with her life.She feels a sense of purpose since she decided to use her abilities to help others. Sharing her abilities was the missing link to fill the void she felt for so long.
Living your purpose is a great lesson because this involves sharing your talent and gifts. When we do this, we inspire and help others and send them a message that they can change too no matter what their circumstances.
As a medium, Deborah was inspired by the book by Allison Dubois titled “Secrets of The Monarch. ”Like the monarch butterflies who take generations to complete a cycle, we too are influenced by our families and previous generations. If we can listen with our hearts and understand that our family and friends in spirit are influencing our lives today then we can lead better lives passing on traditions and wisdom they left behind.
These relatives and friends watch over us, intervene, and direct our lives where they left off. We can understand they are here among us and we can feel at peace after they are gone. Coming full circle, we find the missing pieces about our loved ones that once left us feeling empty. All of these people are as close to us as when they were alive. She discovered this connection to the spirit world through the death of her brother and father. Although their physical bodies are gone, their spirits remain alive. They want us to free ourselves from the past. We can remember the positive experiences and good they left behind. We can continue where they left off and complete the next stage of life.
